20. – 27.12. Valencia to Palma de Mallorca – Christmas in Ibiza


From December 20th to 27th, we’ll be sailing from Valencia to Palma de Mallorca.

Crew will arrive in Valencia at 20th. Late afternoon will be used for shopping, evening to enjoy Valencia.

We’ll depart from the Real Club Nautico de Valencia on December 21st in the morning for relax sailing 20 nm to Cabo Cullera, where we will anchor north or south of the cape if wind and wave are aprobriate. Next day we pass about 25nm to Marina of Denia. If the wheather is not nice for anchoring we will do the 45nm from Valencia in one step. 23rd we cross ca. 50nm to the west coast of Ibiza. Anchoring in one of the beautiful bays either at the Islands Es Vedra and es Vedranell or in Cala d`Hort. On 24th we start reasonably early to arrive in Ibiza Marina afternoon after a short sailing of 20nm. This gives us time to enjoy Christmas Eve on bord and in Ibiza Town. Next day we have an intensive sailing to pass the 60 miles to the west coast of Mallorca, staying overnight in one of the beautiful bays of this region. We’ll arrive at the Real Club Nautico de Palma de Mallorca on 26th. Disembarking is morning 27th, we need the boat empty to clean and prepare for the trip back.

This trip is also suitable for beginners. Approximately 200 nautical miles will be covered in a maximum of 6 sailing days, with daily legs ranging from 30 to 50 nautical miles. Depending on your preference, we can anchor in beautiful bays west of Ibiza and Mallorca and also experience night sailing.

The cost is €600 per person in a double cabin and €900 for single occupancy.

The skippers contribute to the ship’s kitty for harbor fees, fuel, food, etc. This amounts to approximately €200 per person, possibly a little more if there are frequent restaurant visits.
