September 10th to 24th: Mileage trip  (MT) from Mallorca to Vilamoura (Faro airport) Depending on the wind and weather, we will visit Ibiza/Formentera as well as the port cities of Cartagena, Malaga and Cadiz on our way. Of course, if there is interest, we will also visit Gibraltar. The trip is divided into two sections (part 1 from Mallorca to Malaga, part two from Malaga to Vilamoura) and requires a certain seaworthiness. A total of approx. 600 nm are covered. Some sections are only sailed during the day, but others can also be sailed for up to 2 days.

October 1 – 15, 2022: High seas and mileage trip  (HM) from Vilamoura (Faro Airport) to Marina San Miguel on Tenerife . We start in the Vilamoura Marina near Faro Airport and sail, possibly with a stop in Madeira, to the Marina San Miguel on Tenerife. Depending on the wind and weather, we’ll call at Lanzarote or La Palma. Some experience is desirable but not mandatory. However, the trip is only suitable for seaworthy sailors who bring the right sailing clothing with them. About 800 nm are sailed on the high seas in about 6 to 7 days and nights.

29 October to 12 November 2022: high seas and mileage trip  (HM) from Tenerife to Sao Vincente in Cape Verde . We start in the Marina San Miguel on Tenerife with the Marina Mindelo on Sao Vincente as our destination. Depending on the wind and weather, we’ll walk La Gomera or El Hierrano beforehand. If the weather conditions encourage us to sail over immediately, there is still time to call at 1 or 2 other islands in Cape Verde. The trip is accompanied by two experienced skippers. It is therefore also suitable for beginners, although a certain amount of experience is an advantage. However, seaworthiness and suitable sailing clothing are mandatory requirements. About 800 nm are sailed on the high seas in about 6 to 7 days and nights.

November 12th to December 3rd, 2022 Atlantic crossing : high seas and mileage trip  (HM) from Sao Vincente on Cape Verde to Martinique, Caribbean. We start in the Marina Mindelo on Sao Vincente with the Port De Plaisance Du Marin on Martinique as our destination. With the Paasat winds that are normal at this time of year, we should reach Martinique in about 14 days. That would give us some time to explore the surrounding islands. The trip is accompanied by two experienced skippers. It is therefore also suitable for beginners, although a certain amount of sailing experience is an advantage. However, seaworthiness and suitable sailing clothing are mandatory requirements.
